This project aims to promote safe school environments and organizations free from sexual violence in Mexico through the implementation of a program of workshops focused on sexual health education, prevention of sexual abuse, and capacity building at selected schools in rural and outlying urban areas of Querétaro.
Over a course of 7 month, the team in Mexico will:
- Conduct workshops with children and young people at four schools, involving 300 students and eight teachers.
- Adapt and distribute accessible and culturally relevant teaching materials tailored to students and teachers.
- Evaluate the project’s impact and gather insights that can be used to expand the project in other contexts.
