This year we launched a trial podcast called Mi Cuerpo ConSentido, and given the positive feedback, we applied to a grant from CISU to develop it further. And after a few months of hard work, we just received the good news; our podcast project has been accepted!
This will allow Mi Cuerpo/Min Krop to give even more free access to information about sexual and reproductive health rights, providing taboo-free SRHR education, as well as debunking common myths related to these topics.
Thanks to CISU we will not only be able to spread information via the podcast to Spanish speaking teens and young adults, but also work, in person, with students and teachers here in Colombia.
We will be carrying out several activities throughout next year relating to the podcast at our partner schools, including podcasts developed by students and recorded by our team. We are also thrilled to have other educators and creators come on to our podcast to share their expertise on different topics relates to sexual and reproductive health, we´re sure students will love to hear new perspectives from new voices.
Our team is very excited to begin this new project and can’t wait to start recording, uploading, and visiting schools to work further with students and teachers on these vital topics.
