On January 1st, Miroslava joined our team in Mexico, and this is what she says about her first month:
"I just finished my first month at Mi Cuerpo-Min Krop and I'm very happy because of all that I've learned so far. I found a team where everyone is willing to learn and support from each other. I've been working on the organization's social media content, reading books to get up to date on topics within sex education and presenting ideas for the project.
I´m very excited to start the workshops with students and keep learning the next couple of months."
Miroslava joins the team through the program "Jóvenes construyendo futuro", a State funded program that pays her salary for 12 months. She is 23 years old and has a degree in Sociology from the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro. She is interested in topics related to gender based violence and sexuality. Since her adolescence she has been part of women's groups dedicated to the fight for human rights.
